Ordnance Survey logo

Ordnance Survey logo with a tyr rune
The symbol shaped like a T is the tyr rune and is symbolic of the norse god Tyr
Which represents the left hand of god in the bible and the alpha and the omega from the bible.
Also the logo is stylised with the blue and red which is also symbolic of the alpha and omega.
The norse god Tyr is a god with only a left hand because his right hand was bitten off by another wolf god called fenrir.

For more infomation on the left hand of god see:

Bible quotes for understanding exactly what the alpha and omega is:
"I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End....
...Fear not; I am the first and the last: I am he that liveth, and was dead; and behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and death.” Revelation 1:17-18
