Star Cluster of The Pleiades in the Bible - LAMB OF GOD

''The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him and said, "Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!"

what exactly is the lamb of god?

Quote from the Bible

''Then I saw a Lamb, looking as if it had been slain, standing in the center of the throne, encircled by the four living creatures and the elders. He had seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven spirits of God sent out into all the earth.''

7 eyes and 7 horns?

They are symbolic of the 7 stars of the Pleiades star cluster.

more quotes from the Bible:

"The mystery of the seven stars that you saw in my right hand and of the seven golden lampstands is this: The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches, and the seven lampstands are the seven churches."

"Can you bind the beautiful Pleiades? Can you loose the cords of Orion? Canst thou guide Arcturus with his sons''

''But I was alike a gentle lamb led to the slaughter.''

''Knowing that you were ransomed from the futile ways inherited from your forefathers, not with perishable things such as silver or gold, but with the precious blood of Christ, like that of a lamb without blemish or spot''

Bellerophon: Constellation of The Pleiades? Really?

Do you know the difference between a star cluster and constellation?

Bellerophon: I'm happy, yeah :)

Are you?

Do you need astronomy classes? :)

Or maybe just glasses? :) So you can read better next time you try screwing with facts :D.

Terran resistance: lol if I said taurus

it would just confuse because I believe hyades cluster is in taurus aswell

and they are a different religious symbol altogether lol

besides pleiades should be its own constellation >:P

Bellerophon: I agree, but you would only

I agree, but you would only confuse somebody even more. There are hella lot of people who think not only pleiades, but that Alpha Centauri is a constelaltion (long story how I bumped into that one).

I understand what you are trying to say. You could still describe it as a symbol, without calling it a constellation. I mean, since you already know the difference, its even worse that you put it that way lol.
