How to Overcome Fear When Facing Real Danger StormCloudsGathering. The Fastest Way to Dumb Down a Nationis to Scare Them.

"Death is the ultimate counsel
Will this thing you're afraid of,
right now matter in 300 years?
In most cases, you'll find that
the answer is 'no'...

"There's no sense in poisoning
the precious little time that
we have with inner turmoil.

"You're going to die, no matter
what - so you may as well smile
like a kid who's been caught with
their hand in the cookie jar -
and eat that cookie anyway.

"But what if this thing that's
keeping you up in the middle of
the night matter in 300 years?

"What would you do, if you knew
you only had one year to live?
Answer that question, and you
have found your mission in life.- "http://www.thedailysheeple.com/how-to-overcome-fear-when-facing-real-dan...

Tarheel: There are many ways, but I do like this way

Or, you can remember 2 things.
1) FEAR- False Evidence Appearing Real
2) "Energy can never die, it can only transform."~ Albert Einstein

There is nothing to fear, folks. You're safe now.

Brakel: Fear can also be used to warn

Fear can also be used to warn some1 of something, but never let it make decisions for you.

Tarheel: I see your point, but....

....I prefer to call that "alarm" or "startle". Absolutely either can be triggered but don't let either morph into fear.

I can be startled, surprised or alarmed, but I won't fear anything.
Respect either? Yes, both. I try to respect everything-"try" being the operative word.
Fear anything? NO.
