Ex-CDC head named President (of vaccine division) @ Merck

What a travesty, and an indictment of the pathetic system this place employs.
Let me ask you-Does she even look remotely trustworthy to you ? Money talks, BS walks.

Title- Former CDC Head Lands Vaccine Job at Merck

Excerpt- (editors commentary)This is how every level of government works, top to bottom. There is influence to be bought, and it will be bought. Is there maybe a conflict of interest when government bureaucrats, not just sometimes, but as a matter of routine, leave their government positions to work in the industries and corporations they once regulated? And very often then leave those same corporations to go back into government to “regulate” the corporations they once worked for? Those who adore the State suffer from a high level of cognitive dissonance, especially when you bring up the incestuous relationship between the corporation and the government they love so much. They will say that the CDC says vaccines are safe, therefore everyone should be vaccinated, by force if necessary. But they are incapable of grasping that the CDC and Merck, et al, are the same entity. Monsanto and the USDA are the same entity. Goldman Sachs and Treasury are the same entity. Etc. And guess what? You can’t even vote them out of office.(end)

Julie Gerberding speaks during an interview with Reuters in Washington, February 1, 2008.

Dr. Julie Gerberding, former director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, was named president of Merck & Co Inc’s vaccine division, the company said on Monday.

Tarheel: It's been a bad day/sad day

I found out this morning that, at a local charity where I do benefit work, one of the older ladies passed away and another isn't doing well at all. It's hard not to get attached to them. I don't deal with passing very well. I guess I should get better at "dealing with death", as most of them are elderly &/or waning.
Then I find crap like this post (above) and wonder what's wrong with this place. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gYJwYjanCRQ
