Billy Meier's story is one that I wanted to believe, I mean it just seems logical to me that if an alien species was visiting us that they would try and communicate with at least one person to see what we are like. The overwhelming amount of evidence that Billy collected is also something of a goldmine if it were real, unfortunately I don't believe it is.

The Photos

I would say a good half of the photos I have seen that were taken by Meier are 'believable', meaning that if you saw one by itself without the stigma attached to it you might believe it is a real space craft. There are many photos of Billy's that are very convincing, but like a lot of amateur photographers, he made the common mistake of not editing his portfolio. There are more than a few photos that Billy has released that are obviously fake, and it is these forgeries that cast a doubt on every single photo Billy has taken.

The Video

The thing that convinced me beyond a shadow of a doubt that the whole case was a hoax was this video. In it is a supposed UFO flying above a tree. If it had been a photo and not a video then I might have considered it authentic since the scale of both the UFO and the tree seem to be spot on, and you get a real sense of size when comparing the two. Once you hit play on the video however you will notice the UFO flying in a pendulous fashion, exactly the type of movement you would expect of a model UFO suspended on a string. Anyone with a shred of common sense and logic will automatically realize this is not a real UFO, and it is almost comical that the person who filmed it expects you to believe it is real.

Notice the pendulum like movement of the 'UFO'.

I have seen dozens of films of supposed UFO's besides the Billy Meier case and the only ones that appear to float in a back and forth pattern as if suspended are the ones taken by Meier. Once again, if Billy had not included this in his collection of UFO evidence then it would make his story much more believable. It is included however, and because this video so closely resembles the vast majority of still photographs available, the only logical conclusion if this video is fake, is that the photographs were also faked.

The Prophecies

One of the interesting things about Billy's contact with the Pleiadians was the fact that they gave him knowledge of events that were to pass, events in the future. According to Billy multiple people have confirmed that these events were going to take place, but for some reason they had to 'secure the information' until the date passed? That doesn't make sense.

Hypothetical Scenario

Lets take a hypothetical to properly illustrate this. You are an old lonely man that has contact with beings from another planet and they are giving you information about the future. They let you take photographs of them that way you can prove to people they are real. You know that Iranian terrorists are going to kidnap a bunch of people and some of them are going to die, you feel like you should tell people that way you can prevent this scenario from happening. But who is going to believe you, you don't have any evidence... oh wait, you just remembered that the Pleiadians let you take videos and photographs of them for a situation just like this, that way you can prove to people that it is real. Even if the public doesn't believe your first or second prophecy, since you have received literally dozens of predictions from the aliens, I'm sure that you will be able to build a track record quickly and therefore people will start to believe you.

I mean the photographic evidence is there specifically so people will believe your story, so now all you have to do is publish in a couple news papers a few events that are going to take place before they happen.

You don't do this.

Instead you "secure the information" until after the event takes place. WHAT. THE. HELL.

That doesn't make any logical sense to me at all, unless the whole thing is a hoax and you are just trying to sell books (which he is).

Conclusion

According to my research Billy Meier is a fake, and a fraud, and I'm sure anyone who researches his claims for more than 10 minutes will agree with me. Billy Meier and people like him are the reason why UFO's are not taken seriously despite the overwhelming amount of evidence to suggest the contrary. If Billy was 40 years younger and had both arms then I would challenge him to a fist fight, but at this point in his life he is just a sad old man with a story with bigger wholes than the titanic.
