I have been doing alot of soul searching lately, and i really feel that this is true, i will not be going down a tunnel to the light. i will go my own way in a different direction.

I have to admit, i have had a good life, but it wasnt easy, it took much work, and with many ups and downs. I have learned many lessons during my journey, i believe that i have payed my dues, and then some. Even though i may still have some fight left in me, I only wish for peace, I have seen some things in my lifetime that i never wish to see again. No my next incarnation will not be here, I want to find a place where Peace and Love are the normal operating procedures, A place where there is no war, or starvation, no greed, and no hate. I guess i will be looking for Heaven. I know that i can survive here, i have proved that to myself many times. I have heard that you must go through Hell before you get to Heaven, If that is the case then there is only one place for me to go when i leave this place, and that is, away from the light in the tunnel. I have been learning how the neurons in the two halves of the brain store the memories and always try to gain better harmony or resonance between the energy patterns stored in the complex fields generated by molecules around the outside of the neurons (Which are cells, and remember that the reach all the way from brain-stem to Tip of Toe)...
Your intuition comes from that part, your focus, short term memory, critical/rational thought comes from there, and you combine them to get creative thought (Just came up with that last part now).
So these parts of my brain seem to resonate more with your description of staying here and choosing my fate, instead of going into the light.
Also, after listening to a man with half his face scared, who died in a plane crash but came back, as he described his after-life experience, the light was a tractor beam, he was being pulled towards it, and then he was suddenly trans-located to the presence of the Lord, then God explained the darkness he saw covering the light was his life up till now, and then he was in his body again.
Now I am thinking you could be right that the light is bad. But one thing he said is that you inherently could know what everything is, and I know that is because you can see how the forms made by interactions of waves, determine the functions of things, and with that knowledge, you can instantly figure out everything you see.

when we look at things, we think as matter or whatever, when we look into it

Well, it does seem reasonable that the light is a lure, and that God would not do that.

If that is right, then our entire galaxy is like one particle, in one atom, in one protein, which forms together, to form the neurons, in Gods Brain. (I just figured that out just now).
