Two Wolves - A Cherokee Parable
An old Cherokee chief was teaching his grandson about life...
"A fight is going on inside me," he said to the boy. "It is a terrible fight and it is between two wolves.
"One is evil - he is anger, envy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, self-doubt, and ego.
"The other is good - he is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion, and faith.
"This same fight is going on inside you - and inside every other person, too."
The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather, "Which wolf will win?"
The old chief simply replied, "The one you feed."

This caught my attention and its true i living it everyday to trying to hold on.
As I am doing this in my life as well.. I see you have read plenty of their sayings as they contain plenty of wisedom we all could follow. I love to listen to their music,as this moves my soul.
Sadly most of the times wolf-food is not in our hands. A huge amount of strength and self control is needed to hold the line. The thin red line ... Sometimes you need to feed the bad wolf. Depends what keeps you alive. Will we evolve after that or we will fall one level into the red zone? That is the question.

I was not born with this knowledge,as I had to learn this along the path of life.We all have to. We are better human beings for this.
Yes your right im learning that sometimes we learn it the hard way i know i did but just like everyone else im doing my best like everyone is.
If we can do better then that,then go for it. Service to Others,and Not service to Self.
